I'm enjoying listening to the podcasts.
I caught your comments about the wedding. First, thank you for being there and putting up with all of it with such grace.
Second, I would like to apologize on behalf of the entire Holy Catholic Church for the antics of one power-trippin' acolyte. If it's any consolation, your aunt N. said that the priest came and apologized later for this man's behaviour, said he was way out of line. Sorry you weren't there for humble apologies in person. As in any institution, the greatest ideals and aims are thwarted by human weakness; I'm very sorry you bore the brunt of it.
We're glad you enjoyed the rest of the wedding. Come back soon, and we'll share Christian love and charity over drinks. We'll leave our 27 kids at home with their grandmother for the night.
